Abstract
Injected exogenous horseradish peroxidase was demonstrated cytochemically in mouse liver and kidney with a new oxidizable substrate, 3-amino-9-ethylcarbazole. The method is simple and convenient, and the deposits of red reaction product are precise, easily visible, and stable. This method appears somewhat less sensitive than benzidine methods for the demonstration of endogenous peroxidase. Keywords
