Abstract
An anatomy of philosophical taste Philosophical reflection is usually thought of as being free of social or empirical determination. Studying the research practices of students enrolled in Master or Doctor of Philosophy programs shows that, on the contrary, their reflection is highly dependent on the teaching program. The study also reveals that the space of philosophy subjects is very hierarchical and that this hierarchy corresponds to the ranking of the students treating the subjects. Philosophical reflection then is no freer than any other practice from the tight mesh of determinations that binds all human activities.Anatomie des philosophischen Geschmacks Philosophische Reflexion wird im allgemeinen als unabhängig von jeder sozialen oder sonstigen empirischen Bedingtheit angesehen. Eine Studie über die Forschungspraxis von zur Erlangung des Magister- oder Dr.-Titels in Philosophie eingeschriebenen Studenten zeigt indes, dafë sie in hohem Ausmaßê mit dem angebotenen Unterrichtsprogramm korrelliert ; gleichfalls wird die starke Hierarchisierung des Themenbereichs deutlich, sowie, dais diese Hierarchie einer Hierarchie der Studentenschaft entspricht, die mit ihrer Bearbeitung beauftragt wurde. So ist philosophische Reflexion ebensowenig wie anderes Tun jenem engen Bestimmungsgefüge entzogen, das auf aller menschlichen Tätigkeit lastet.Anatomie du goût philosophique La réflexion philosophique est généralement conçue comme étant indépendante de toute détermination sociale ou empirique. L'étude des pratiques de recherche des étudiants inscrits en maîtrise et doctorat de philosophie montre à l'inverse que celle-ci est très dépendante des programmes d'enseignement. Elle révèle aussi que l'espace des sujets en philosophie est fortement hiérarchisé et qu'à cette hiérarchie correspond une hiérarchie des étudiants appelés à les traiter.
