Abstract
Thirty six rats, trained on a 2-lever discrimination problem with a jewel light just above the lever as SD, were divided into groups maintained at 80% and 70% of free feeding, weight and subgroups run 4, 24, and 40 hr. after feeding. One-half of each subgroup was tested following intraperitoneal administration of LSD-25 or chloropromazine. The S under both drugs allowed a number of trials to time out. This effect was significantly more pronounced in the 70% body weight group following chlorpromazine and the 80% body-weight group following LSD-25. Postfeeding interval had no effect on timed-out trials. Chloropromazine had not effect on errors; however, error scores declined significantly over the LSD-25 series. Keywords
