Abstract
Septal rats were hyperreactive when rated 1-2 days postoperatively, but if not rated for 21 days, they were emotionally similar to normal and neocortically ablated Ss. In contrast, Ss with simultaneously prepared septalneocortical lesions maintained states of hyperemotionality after the absence of rating for 21 days.Keywords
