Messung der Halbwertszeiten von 60 Co, 137 Cs und 133 Ba

Abstract
The half-lifes of 60 Co, 137 Cs and 133 Ba have been evaluated from measurements of the activities of samples against the activity of a 226 Ra-standard by means of a 4 π-γ-ionization chamber during a period of about 3 years. A least squares fit together with corrections for the decay of 226 Ra, contaminations, and saturation defects leads to the following results:60 Co: T1/2 = (5,2719 ± 0,0011) a;133 Ba: T1/2 = (10,352 ± 0,040) a;137 Cs: T1/2 = (29,901 ± 0,045) a.
