Abstract
North and northwest of the Aier massif in the central Sahara the Paleozoic section, well exposed in the Tin Seririne syncline and dated by three fossiliferous zones, lies unconformably on the Precambrian basement. Three other unconformities are visible in the sequence, indicating movements of small amplitude in the Cambro-Ordovician, at the beginning of the Devonian, and in the Carboniferous. The formation at the top of the sequence is tentatively attributed a Permo-Jurassic age. Keywords
