Abstract
The method has been developed for the recovery of trace amounts of aromatic hydrocarbons C6-C13 from water. The hydrocarbons were stripped from the aqueous phase by the stream of inert gas; from the gaseous phase they were retained on the macroporous polymer sorbent. The desorption was carried out by the heating of sorbent and desorbed components were led directly to a gas chromatograph. The dependence of hydrocarbons recovery on their physical and chemical properties and experimental conditions was studied. The described method is suitable for the determination of volatile organic compounds (B.P. <300 °C) in water in a concentration range up to 0.1 ppb. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
