Abstract
The layer-projected electron densities of states for compositionally modulated Cu3-Ni3 and Cu5-Nd5 alloys for various shapes of modulation profiles are found. The tight-binding model with diagonal disorder is used and the calculations are performed within the Hartree-Fock and coherent potential approximations. Keywords
