Abstract
Half-axial biplane left ventriculography was performed in patients undergoing cardiac catheterization for clinically suspected coronary artery or valvular disease. The right anterior oblique view and a left anterior oblique projection were obtained by angling the lateral image intensifier in a caudo-cranial direction so that the long axis of the left ventricle was more nearly perpendicular to the horizontal beam. Cardiac output showed a linear correlation with outputs determined by the thermodilution method. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
