Abstract

Inclusion of baryon resonances in the current-algebra analysis of

B \to B^{'} π

and

B \to B^{'} γ

decays explains both the mismatch of the

s

- and

p

-wave pion amplitudes and the nonvanishing negative asymmetry parameter for

Σ^{+} \to p γ

.
