Abstract
As people walk around in the world, many impulses to make a transaction are generated by objects in the environment. For many reasons these transaction impulses are deferred. A study of consumer behaviour is presented focussing on why these transaction impulses are deferred. By looking at the reasons for deferral we aim to inform the design of new user centred mobile ecommerce solutions based on overcoming some of these deferral reasons. Keywords
