Abstract
Nitrous oxide-oxygen sedation has been used safely in a pediatric office for approximately 3,000 uncomfortable procedures such as laceration repairs in children and teenagers. Fear and apprehension were decreased, resulting in happier children, parents, and medical personnel. We describe a system and technique for safely utilizing nitrous oxide-oxygen sedation.
