Abstract
We investigate the temperature dependence of the effective interaction for a hot neutron gas. We point out that care has to be exercised when extending zero-temperature formalisms to finite temperatures using plausibility arguments. The temperature dependence of the effective interaction, however, is found to cause relatively small changes in the pressure. Keywords
