Abstract
Experimental data from several Soviet authors are used to investigate the importance of relief-forming processes in a glacial environment. Water discharge from glacial rivers was found to be crucial for the evolution of frontal moraines versus pro-glacial glaciofluvial deposits (sandar and valley trains).Keywords
