Abstract
Gelatin preparations were used to treat soil slides prior to addition of fluorescent antibody. Nonspecific staining was avoided, with no detectable interference to specific staining. Gelatin-rhodamine conjugates served to counterstain as well as to prevent nonspecific staining.Keywords
