Abstract
A source coding problem is considered which generalizes the Slepian-Wolf-Cover theorem on noiseless coding of correlated sources so as to include the case of arbitrary cross observations at the encoders. The achievable rate region is established by using Cover's result. Also a co-polymatroidal property of the relevant polytope is pointed out. Keywords
