Abstract
This paper describes the measured properties of the electromagnetic radiation from gap-type electrical discharges which occur on distribution lines and discusses some of the factors which affect these emissions. A discussion is given of the methods by which these waves are generated, of the measurement techniques, and the findings of this investigation. Keywords
