Abstract
A survey of the prevalence of primary dapsone-resistant leprosy in Cebu, Philippines, has yielded an estimates of 3.6/100. Of 55 patients, 53 proved to have Mycobacterium leprae fully susceptible to dapsone. The organisms of 2 patients multiplied in mice administered the minimal effective dose of dapsone; and those of 1 of these patients also multipled in mice administered dapsone in a 10-fold larger dose. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
