Abstract
Evidence is presented for zeros in the -exchange contribution to and in the -exchange contribution to production. The position of the -exchange zero is consistent with a trajectory with . Evidence is also presented suggesting that the chooses the Gell-Mann mechanism (nonsense choosing). A model of exchange with exact exchange degeneracy is found to describe the data quantitatively.
