Abstract
Contrary to observations of a horizontal position of falling spores of Basidiomycetes, conidia of Erisyphe graminis and E. poly-goni were found to fall in a vertical position in slightly more than half the cases. The spores were caught on glass slides after falling through glass tubes. This vertical falling position may be due to slight displacement of nucleus and vacuoles from a symmetrical arrangement. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
