Abstract
Locomotor activity of swimming fishes can be measured in a circular basin with a lightray-photocell-passage. Natural stream water makes a flowing milieu and brings food by organic drift to the experimental fishes. Results obtained by the arrangement are shown in activity curves of Lota lota and Phoxinus phoxinus.
