Abstract
We consider the correlation of three atoms in liquid neon from the neutron diffraction measurement of the isothermal density derivative of the pair correlation function. Several closure approximations for the triplet correlation function are discussed. Three of the approximations are representations of the triplet correlation function as a functional of the pair correlation function, and the other is expressed as a simple function of the pair correlation function. Keywords
