Abstract
Having determined the efficacy of aphasia therapy and the importance of early intervention, the next step to take in aphasia treatment research is ‘to accumulate clinical research designed to test hypotheses on the relative effectiveness of various approaches to treatment’ (LaPointe 1984, p. 307). Following LaPointe's advice this study examined two approaches to early aphasia treatment by further analysing data collected by Holland and colleagues (1983).Keywords
