Proposed designs for superconducting lenses for high voltage electron microscopes

Abstract
New shapes for high field superconducting lenses, are computed from Poisson's equation taking into account the strong saturation of the magnetic circuit. The optical properties of these lenses are better than those of lenses of classical design working in the same conditions.
