Abstract

A magnetic study of metallic nickel particles by the reduction of NiX and NiY zeolites in the presence of a second cation shows that, not only the reducibility of Ni²⁺ ions, but also the dispersion of the Ni⁰ particles formed, depend on which second cation is present.
