Abstract
The reaction products of cytochemical methods for acid phosphatase, carbonic anhydrase succinate dehydrogenase, and thiolacetic acid esterase have been identified by historadiographic methods in sections of kidney. The absorption of x-rays by these products gives information on their localisation when they cannot be seen readily in the light microscope. The requirements for successful demonstration of such reaction products and the possibley value of the technique are discussed. Keywords
