Abstract
An auditory frequency following response (FFR) was recorded to four complx stimuli. The FFR corresponded to the waveform envelope periodicity but not to the "missing fundamental" pitch of the stimuli. The FFR may be significant for timbre perception and sound lateralization. Keywords
