Wave-packet dynamics: new physics and chemistry in femto-time

Abstract
We present a review of wave-packet dynamics, with a focus on 'femto-chemistry'. We review basic theory and simple properties of wave-packets, the application of two-state models to wave-packet dynamics, and wave-packet processes in the presence of light. We also discuss the treatment of wave-packets in dissipative problems.Keywords
