The Dog as a Natural Host for Blastomyces Dermatitidis

Abstract
Summary A generalized infection in a dog by a fungus proven to be serologically and morphologically identical with Blastomyces dermatitidis, Gilchrist in its various phases, both in the tissues of the host and on artificial media, is reported. This is believed to be the first record of spontaneous generalized blastomycosis in a dog.
