Abstract
Summary: Preliminary results in the study of plasma 1‐cystine aminopeptidase levels as a test of fetal‐placental function are reported. A significant correlation has been obtained between plasma 1‐cystine aminopeptidase and the total 24‐hour urinary oestrogen excretion. It is concluded that serial determinations of plasma 1‐cystine aminopeptidase levels are of value in assessing fetal‐placental function. Keywords
