Abstract
Important sources of the suffering psychotherapy seeks to combat, such as the inevitability of death and the existence of evil, are major concerns of religion and ethics. Hence religious beliefs and ethical values of both practitioners and recipients of psychotherapy may effect choice, course and outcome of psychotherapy.Keywords
