Abstract
Two-hundred fifty catheter vertebral angiograms were reviewed with special reference to the anterior inferior cerebellar artery as seen on the straight anteroposterior views. Radiographic anatomy of this artery is described, and variations of the anterior and posterior inferior cerebellar arteries are tabulated. Elevation of the proximal portion of the anterior inferior cerebellar artery is a strong indication of an extra-axial mass lesion in the posterior fossa, but depression of this artery is not as reliable as elevation in differential diagnosis. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
