Abstract
Patients attending an STD (sexually transmitted disease) clinic were studied to identify factors (demographic or attitude) likely to influence the completion of treatment or follow-up. Demographic factors (age, gender) generally had little influence on patients'' attitudes and attendance. The clinic itself influenced attitudes (which may affect attendance) although attitudes were probably also linked to external factors such as social class or previous attendance at an STD clinic. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
