Abstract
Molybdenum and copper-molybdenum ore concentrations may be detected by soil and hydrochemical surveying technique. A general chemical description of molybdenum, the various mineral forms in which it occurs, and the conditions of reaction are given. Physical geography, particularly relief, and rainfall are predominant factors governing the behavior of molybdenum in the oxidation zone. Molybdenum dispersion halos at the Dasta Kert, Agarak, Kadzharan, and Ankavan deposits,,Armenian SSR, were studied to test the method of surveying. --M. Russell
