Abstract
P. pini var. cancriformans var. nov. newly described, is a causal agent of cankers and limited stem decay in white firs [Abies concolor] in southern Oregon and northern California [USA]. Merchantable losses attributed to the effect of this fungus are estimated to be 13% of the standing volume. Of the trees surveyed, 16% had large visible cankers. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
