Abstract
• We describe a case of childhood multiple sclerosis with vertigo as a presenting finding. A review of 14 cases at The Children's Hospital of Denver disclosed that vertigo was a presenting symptom in four of these. This ratio closely approximates the adult incidence. With the application of objective vestibular testing, this rate is probably much higher. Pediatricians should bear in mind childhood multiple sclerosis when faced with unexplained vertigo in a child.
