Abstract
Tosylhydrazones of carbonyl compounds were found to be readily cleaved into the corresponding carbonyl compounds in good yields under the mild conditions by treatment with dimethyldioxirane which is generated in situ from the reaction of acetone with potassium peroxymonosulfate.Keywords
