Abstract
I. The presence of tyrosinase is general in the larvae of Macrolepidoptera, usually free from admixture with other similar oxidizing enzymes.[long dash]II. The difference in intensity of markings of spring and summer broods of Pieris rapae, and probably P. brassicae, is not due to any difference in tyrosinase content, but to some other factor, depending on temp. at which the pupae are kept. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
