Abstract
Of 23 patients who underwent transureteroureterostomy 4, sustained injury to the recipient ureter. This complication was feared but seldom reported. The complications were discussed and factors in technique possibly relating to the failures were considered. The operation is still regarded as an excellent means of urinary diversion for patients with unilateral lower ureteral lesions. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
