Abstract
Studies were made during the summer of 1926 in West Greenland on 1 Chaetognath and 3 Schizopods, all very abundant and important as food for whales, seals, and other organisms. In Sagitta elegans arctica the growth of the ovaries plotted against the body length approaches a log- arithmic straight line. Boreomysis nobilis probably has a prolonged breeding period during the summer and autumn. Bimodal curves for size in the populations of Thysanoessa inermis and raschii and Sagitta suggest 2 distinct broods whose breeding cycles overlap. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
