Abstract
Extracts of Sarcoptes scabiei var. canis mite bodies analyzed by crossed immunoelectrophoresis (CIE) contained multiple antigens. Sarcoptes scabiei -specific antiserum suitable for immunological studies was produced in rabbits with chronic, heavy mite infestations without direct immunization. Composite analysis of the CIE gels identified 7 anodically moving antigens and 2 cathodically moving antigens. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
