Abstract
The construction of a R-SQUID which acts as a mixer and local oscillator in the 4 mm range is described in detail. A strong frequency dependence of the detected signal is found and its dependence on the incident microwave power indicates that the device acts as a square law detector for low power levels and as a linear detector for the higher ones. A sensitivity of 10 -15 W was achievedKeywords
