Abstract
The electron distribution function of a rare gas plasma induced by high energy particles can be calculated, in its low and medium energy portion, without accurate knowledge of the inelastic processes, nor of the energy spectrum of the seed electrons. As an example, this calculation is applied to the case of neon irradiated by a D.C. proton beamKeywords
