New identifications of doubly excited quartet states in Be II

Abstract
Theoretical calculations by Laughlin (1982) have confirmed all except one of the authors recent identifications of quartet states in Be II and have predicted some new ones. This letter reports on experimental results, which confirm some of the new theoretical predictions.Keywords
