Dormancy Breaking is Followed by Mitochondria Proliferation in Poplar and Apple Trees in Milieu of Midwinter

Abstract
In the early stage soon after the dormancy breaking, proliferation of mitochondria commenced in twigs of nongrowing poplar and apple trees under sub-zero temperatures. Since the profile of proliferation could be observed every year, the proliferation may be associated annually with the cytological events in the perennials in midwinter.
