Multiple Myeloma Associated with Myelofibrosis

Abstract
A case of multiple myeloma associated with myelofibrosis and myeloid metaplasia is reported. The presentation of our patient and a detailed review of the current literature suggest that more than a chance relationship exists between the two disorders. The role of chemotherapy in the induction of bone marrow fibrosis appears to be unlikely.
