Securing the World Wide Web: Smart Tokens and Their Implementation

Abstract
This paper introduces Smart Tokens, discusses some of their basic properties, and outlines their general role in securing software applications on the World Wide Web. In addition, the completed hardware and software architecture of a current implementation is described. Finally, an electronic commerce application for Smart Tokens involving major U.S. financial institutions is discussed.Keywords
