Separation of Optical Isomers as Diastereomeric Derivatives by High Performance Liquid Chromatography

Abstract
The resolution of optical isomers as diastereomeric derivatives by high performance liquid chromatography is reviewed. The application of the method to biologically important compounds, e.g., steroids, benzo[a]pyrene metabolites, carboxylic acids, amino acids and peptides, is discussed.
