Abstract

Descriptions based on males only are given of LAMANEMA chavezi gen. n., sp. n. and Nematodirua lamae sp. n. (Nematoda: Trichostrongylidae) recovered from the small intestine of the alpaca, Lama pacos, in Peru, South America. Both new species were also recovered from the vicuna, Vicugna vicugna, in the same locality.
