Abstract
The helical geodesics and the precession of torque-free gyroscopes in Gödel's spacetime are very similar, at low translatory speeds, to the orbits of charged particles and the precession of magnetic dipoles in a uniform magnetic field. The Lorentz boost of the gyroscope's angular velocity of precession is obtained by comparing the behavior of gyroscopes on arbitrary geodesics. Keywords
